Warranty & Return Policy

1. Product Warranty

We provide 1-year warranty coverage for all products purchased from authorized GMKtec Malaysia Marketplace sellers. During this period, repairs are free of charge, and we will cover the return shipping costs after the repair is completed.

To obtain warranty service, you will need to:

  • Ship the device to our designated service address at your own expense.
  • Ensure it is well-packaged (preferably in its original packaging).
  • Provide proof of purchase and comply with any required registration.

We guarantee that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the duration of the warranty. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor are we responsible for any damage caused by failure to follow product usage instructions.

1.1 Remedies

If a valid warranty claim is made within the coverage period, we will, at our discretion and in accordance with the law:

  1. Repair the product using new or refurbished parts, or
  2. Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of the same or equivalent model.

The replacement unit or repaired parts will be covered for the remaining warranty period or 30 days, whichever is longer.

1.2 Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from natural disasters (e.g., lightning, floods, earthquakes).
  • Negligence, misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs/modifications.
  • Commercial or non-personal use.
  • Use of non-GMKtec accessories or incompatible power sources.
  • Operation outside the intended usage conditions.
  • Data loss, software issues, or reinstallation services.
1.3 Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to data loss, lost profits, or lost revenue, except where prohibited by law.

2. Return Policy

We offer a 7-Day Hassle-Free Return Policy for products purchased directly from GMKtec Malaysia. This period begins from the date you receive the item (as confirmed by tracking records).

Purchases made through authorized marketplace sellers are subject to the respective seller’s return policy.

2.1 Conditions for Return
  • Products must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging, manuals, and accessories intact.
  • Free gifts or bundled accessories must also be returned; otherwise, their retail value will be deducted from the refund.
  • Returns that do not meet these conditions may incur a 15% restocking fee.
2.2 Return Process

    Initiate a return by emailing our support team or contacting us via live chat within the 7-day Hassle-Free Return Period.
  2. Pack the Product
    Repack the product in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and any free gifts received.
  3. Shipping the Product
    We will cover the return shipping fees. A return label or instructions will be provided by our team. Please ensure the package is securely packed and, where applicable, shipped using a trackable service for safe delivery.
2.3 Not Eligible for Return/Refund
  • Refunds are not eligible for requests made after the 7-day Hassle-Free period.
  • Products lost, stolen, or beyond the warranty period.
  • Products without quality issues after 30 days of purchase.
  • Items received for free or as giveaways.
  • Units repaired by unauthorized parties.
  • Damage caused by improper operation, extreme conditions, or physical impact.
  • Computers used for over 6 months (only replacement of the same model may be offered).
2.4 Defective or Damaged Items

If a product is defective upon arrival, we may offer a repair, exchange, or refund at our discretion for the same or equivalent model.

2.5 Refunds
  • Refunds will be issued in the same payment method used for the original purchase.
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
  • For cancellations made prior to shipment, any transaction fees imposed by our payment gateway — regardless of the payment method used — will be deducted from the refund amount.
2.6 Order Cancellations

Orders that have been shipped cannot be canceled unless the customer covers the cost of returning the package.

3. Important Notes

  • We are not responsible for personal data left on returned products. Please back up all data before sending your device.
  • Claims for missing items or shipping damage must be made within 2 business days of receipt.
  • Customers are responsible for any customs clearance procedures. Failure to comply may result in returns or destruction of goods, for which we will not be liable.
